What each finger count does
Show one to five fingers in camera mode to select pads 1–5. You can make the same selection by clicking a pad or pressing its number key. Hand height changes the tone, not the notes in the chord.
The chord names and notes above update when you select a different key or scale. Major and minor have different chord qualities, so listen before using the same finger pattern in both.
Three short patterns to try
These are simple practice loops made for this instrument, not transcriptions of copyrighted songs. Each number is a pad or finger count. Try one chord per beat and repeat the line.
Start on the home chord, build tension, then settle back.
Alternate the two brighter outside chords.
Move outward one chord at a time before returning to 1.
Play the full instrument
Use the studio to change timbre, adjust tone, try the camera, and record a 15-second idea. The chord choices on this page are a quick way to learn the mapping before you play.
